It’s not just selling houses for us; Team Pardee is about changing lives and championing our clients, neighbors, and colleagues to live fully with purpose. If it weren’t for our agents’ dedication and belief in our community, we wouldn’t be able to give 10% of net proceeds from each sale to a local charity.
Kerry Ann Sullivan, one of our top agents, is a part of changing lives both inside and out of the office. She encourages healthy living by teaching several spin classes every week at YAS Fitness in Venice. In addition, one of her upcoming classes will raise proceeds for Breast Cancer research in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We sat down with our Agent of the Month to get her take on being a Life-Changer in the Westside community:
How did you first get started at Pardee Properties?
Tami and I were friends for years and I was always drawn to her magnetism, work ethic and intelligence. I have been so happy working with her and Pardee Properties.
How has your role at Pardee evolved over the years?
I started out as the new kid on the block when the company first began – the team was only Tami, Lou, Sam and Katie then! I was hired as a showing specialist because of my background in sales and hospitality. As most people know, real estate is more than just showing a house;) I did everything – from putting together open house baskets, to sitting at inspections, creating marketing reports, putting files together, pretty much everything there is to do in a real estate transaction. Working with the best team and clients has taught me so much professionally and personally. I have so much gratitude for the people I work with- they have been so generous with their knowledge and have empowered me to continue to learn. My goal is for my clients to have a wonderful and seamless experience when they work with Pardee Properties.
What does being a Life-Changer mean to you and why is it so important?
At the end of the day, I do this job because of the people I am privileged to interact with each day. Our clients are families who are moving to have a bigger back yard, to empty nesters who have decided they want to travel and only maintain a pied a terre. It feels really great to be able to guide them through this incredibly unsettling time. My teammates at Pardee are equally as passionate and create an electric environment to work in.
What is the most gratifying thing about being able to give back to our community?
I love where I live and work! It is only natural to want to be part of the community and to contribute to the community. It feels really great to walk through the grocery store and say hello to a neighbor from my block, or a student from YAS or a past client from Pardee.
